A deep water well providing clean, reliable water to over 10,000 people in a rural community.

The Kasaale Deep Borehole Project is one of our flagship Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions. Constructed in partnership with the local community, the deep borehole now provides a reliable source of clean water to over 10,000 people.
Access to clean water means children spend more time in school, families save time and money, and the burden of waterborne disease is reduced. The community has been supported with hygiene education and a water-user committee to keep the borehole functional for years to come.
Improve access to safe drinking water, reduce water-borne disease and free families — especially women and girls — from long-distance water collection.
