In 2023, we launched the menstrual cups project under SaveGirl Uganda. We received UN-recommended Lunette menstrual cups as a donation from our partners, The Cup Foundation.
The menstrual cup is a relatively uncommon product despite its profound benefits, including eco-friendliness, flexibility and comfort. Because proper training is essential, our team leads hands-on sessions on use and care. The cups can be used for 5–10 years, and user acceptability has been over 80%.
